T.R.U. Hampshire Stealth Cam investigation for Thylacine (Tasmanian tiger).

Wild Bill and Cranky Chris from the T.R.U. or Thylacine Research Unit continue to investigate the Hampshire region of Tasmania by setting a stealth cam after numerous credible sightings of Thylacine (Tasmanian tiger) and their own investigation in the area!

Enjoy!

  1. Hey guys, love your work....I'm actually quite envious of the things you are doing. I'd love to give up the day job and do exactly what you guys are doing.

I've got some questions for you....
How many trail cams do you have?
How do you go about selecting the site to put one up...other than having say a thylacine height and selecting an appropriate lure/bait?

I guess I was considering that near unsealed roads seem to come up quite often in the reports - perhaps only because thats where the people are rather than that where the tigers are - or they may be attracted to road kill - and following near by animal trails that lead up to the roads. Given sufficient number of stealth cams you might be able to get quite a comprehensive coverage of likely areas...
